Honor 6A launched in China for 799 yuan

Huawei’s latest affordable smartphone the Honor 6A has been officially launched in China. Priced at 799 yuan, the phone will be available at Vmall, Huawei’s official online store as well as on Chinese e-commerce site Jingdong.

Honor 6A has a full metal body with rear fingerprint scanner. It comes in four colors — Pink, Blue, Silver and Gold. Powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430, the phone runs Android 7.0 Nougat with EMUI 5.1 on top. This is paired with Adreno 505 GPU.

The 5-inch HD screen of Honor 6A is kept on by a 3020mAh battery. The imaging department is taken care of by a 13MP camera at the back and a5MP selfie snapper. The phone comes in two storage versions — 2GBRAM/16GB ROM and 3GBRAM/32GB ROM. The former is priced at 799 yuan while the premium version carries a price tag of 999 yuan.

Honor 6A is up for pre-order at Vmall. At present only the standard variant with 2GB has been listed online and available in Gold and Silver color options.
