How to redeem codes in GTA 5

The numeric codes are dialed like phone numbers, and the word codes are typed straight into the console on PC. Here’s how each one works on your platform.

Pause the game and pull up your character’s cell phone. This works whether you’re playing on PS4, PS5, Xbox, or PC.

Open the dial pad and enter the numeric code exactly as written, including the dashes, then press call. The effect triggers immediately and a small confirmation notice appears on screen.

If you’re on PC, you can skip the phone entirely for the word codes. Press the tilde (~) key to open the console, type the code exactly as shown, and hit Enter.
