Good news Grand Theft Auto fans. Rockstar has announced that GTA Vice City, one of the best games in the whole series after San Andreas, is coming to Android (and iOS) on December 6th, on the game’s tenth anniversary, for a sweet price of $4.99.
Titled Grand Theft Auto: Vice City 10th Anniversary Edition, the game will feature enhanced graphics with updated character models, enhanced lighting effects, more precise shooting options and “full support for retina devices”, including support for the Nexus 10’s 2560 x 1600 resolution display.
Even though controlling GTA III on the phone was something that put me off from playing it after a few minutes, making it a “wreak havoc for a while then close the game” affair, I’m quite excited to see Vice City coming to Android, and I’m sure a lot of GTA fans are as well. Bring it on Rockstar, hopefully without any delays in the launch!
