How to Get Xenolord in Palworld

Xenolord is not a normal overworld Pal you can track down and catch. It is obtained through the raid loop: make the slab, start the fight, win within the timer, then hatch the egg reward in an Egg Incubator.

The main grind is getting enough Xenolord Slab Fragments. Once you have those, the rest of the route is straightforward, but the boss itself is a serious late-game check with 1,316,000 HP.

Xenolord requirements and raid facts

You need access to Feybreak before this route really opens up, because the summon materials come from Feybreak-linked farming. The cleanest route is using the Pal Expedition Station, though Feybreak dungeon and overworld chests can also give the fragments.

Do not spend time trying to catch the raid boss. The fight is only there to earn the Huge Dark Egg, and that egg is what hatches into Xenolord.

How to get Xenolord in Palworld

This route takes you from the Expedition Station setup to the Xenolord egg and final hatch.

Unlock the Expedition Station

Unlock the Pal Expedition Station, then also unlock the Summoning Altar recipe.

Pick a high-level expedition

Use one of the three highest-level expeditions that can reward the Xenolord summon material.

Check your firepower

Make sure your assigned Pals provide enough firepower before starting the expedition.

Start the expedition

Begin the expedition once the reward percentage looks strong; the shown run had 170% reward.

Wait for the expedition timer

Let the expedition finish; the shown duration was 1 hour.

Collect the fragments

Claim the rewards and aim for at least 4 Xenolord Slab Fragments, though low reward percentage can return fewer.

Craft Xenolord’s Slab

Use a workbench to craft Xenolord’s Slab from the fragments.

Build the Summoning Altar

Place the Summoning Altar on a foundation before offering the slab.

Move the fight away from valuables

Use a safer raid area instead of an important base, because Xenolord can destroy structures.

Assign your raid Pals

Assign your strongest Pals for the battle; the setup shown allows up to 15 assigned creatures.

Summon Xenolord

Activate the altar when ready and summon the level 60 raid boss.

Defeat the boss

Burn through Xenolord’s huge HP pool before the raid timer runs out.

Claim the egg reward

After the kill, the Huge Dark Egg goes into your inventory.

Hatch the egg

Put the Huge Dark Egg in an Egg Incubator to hatch Xenolord.

Receive Xenolord

Once incubation finishes, the egg hatches into Xenolord, Pal number 196.

Farming Xenolord Slab Fragments

There are two useful ways to farm Xenolord Slab Fragments: high-tier Feybreak expeditions through the Pal Expedition Station, and chest farming in Feybreak dungeons or the Feybreak overworld. Expeditions are cleaner when your roster can handle the firepower requirement, while chests work as a repeat-farm route as you clear the region.

For expeditions, the reward percentage matters. A strong run can return the full 4 fragments you need in one go, but it can also return fewer if the reward percentage is lower. For chests, the drop is chance-based, so expect repeat runs rather than a guaranteed fragment every time.

Exact drop rates for Feybreak chests and expedition rewards are not shown in-game, so plan around repeat farming instead of assuming one route will finish the slab every time.

Preparing for the Xenolord raid

Xenolord is a level 60 raid boss with 1,316,000 HP and a 10-minute timer, so treat the fight like a late-game damage race. Bring your strongest combat Pals, make sure they are assigned before the altar is activated, and do not start the raid until your setup is ready.

Placement matters because the boss can wreck structures during the fight. Use a raid-dedicated base or a mostly empty setup if you can, and keep it away from anything you care about losing.

Since the raid begins from the Summoning Altar, do your prep first: assign Pals, check your damage, position the altar, and then offer Xenolord’s Slab. Once the boss appears, your only objective is to defeat it fast enough to earn the egg.

Xenolord capture mistakes to avoid

You cannot catch Xenolord with Pal Spheres. The raid boss is not the version you keep, no matter what sphere you throw at it. The obtainable Xenolord comes from the Huge Dark Egg after the raid win.

Xenolord also has no normal habitat and does not spawn as a regular overworld Pal. Use the spelling Xenolord; if you see Zenolord, treat it as a name mix-up.

What to do after getting Xenolord

Once Xenolord is in your Pal list, repeat raids are the path to more eggs for better rolls. Farming more slabs lets you hatch more Xenolords, which gives you more chances at useful passives.

After that, work on the late-game upgrades: unlock and craft the Xenolord Saddle at level 60, breed for stronger passive skills, use condensing for power, and improve stats through the usual Pal upgrade systems.
