Thanks to developer ashyx over at xda you can now install TWRP recovery on your Galaxy Tab E as well. The dev has just released TWRP 2.8.7.0 for the Qualcomm models (SM-T377P, SM-T560NU) and Spreadtrum models (SM-T560(Y/W), SM-T561) of the Tab E.

You can grab the unofficial Galaxy Tab E TWRP builds for the above said variants from the download links below and simply flash the .tar via Odin.
