Samsung is seeding a new Oreo beta bug fixer update for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. The update fixes some known issues and bugs that were present in the previous beta update.

Galaxy S8/S8+ received the third Oreo beta update last week. However, the update caused problems to several users after it was installed. Many complaints had been made saying that some apps wouldn’t launch.

This new bug fix update, with version number ZQKI, has gotten rid of that issue. We recommend that you install the update right away. It is available as an over the air update for those who signed up for the Galaxy Beta Program and are running the third beta software.

Users in the UK are seeing this update, which doesn’t really bring anything new to the table, as it’s only a bug fixer update. Samsung has currently only made the beta software available in the UK, US, and South Korea. So users in these regions should also see this update very soon.

Samsung will most likely be releasing a stable version of Android 8.0 Oreo update for the Galaxy S8 devices in January 2018. In other news, LG has also just started rolling the Android Oreo beta update for the LG V30.
