Seems like the 2016 flagships by Samsung will be enjoying a great company by the developers and pro Android users. The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge has only been announced a couple of weeks ago and we already have working official builds of TWRP recovery for both the devices.
Developer jcadduono earlier today released Galaxy S7 TWRP recovery for the G930F exynos variant, and now the dev has also released TWRP for S7 Edge G935F as well.
This release is an official build of TWRP 3.0.0 for S7 Edge, but it’s under testing and isn’t live at TeamWin’s official website yet.
If you have a Galaxy S7 Edge in hand and want to give this TWRP build a go, grab the recovery .tar file from the download link below and simply flash via Odin.

[icon name=”exclamation-circle” class=”” unprefixed_class=””] Important note: Do NOT enable/allow TWRP to make system modifications. When you boot TWRP for the first time, it might ask you for this permission. Make sure you don’t allow it because Galaxy S7 Edge stock boot image is dm-verity enabled, which will prevent your device to boot if system modifications are allowed.
Happy Androiding!
