Samsung is not the quickest when it comes to rolling out software updates, but the company seems to be on course to turn over a new leaf with Android 10 and One UI 2.

After Korea, the US, and Germany, the United Kingdom has also started receiving Android 10-based One UI 2 beta for the Galaxy S10 family. The OTA has gone live only days after the One UI 2 beta announcement.

Companies like OnePlus, Xiaomi, and Nokia have beaten Samsung to the punch in terms of Android 10 rollout, but none of the three companies use heavy aftermarket customization as Samsung.

The 1.9 GB OTA, which is rolling out as software version G975FXXU3ZSJ8 (S10 Plus)/G973FXXU3ZSJ8 (S10)/G970FXXU3ZSJ8 (S10e) in the UK, is also bringing the October 2019 security patch.

As per reports, One UI 2 beta is quite stable already and users haven’t faced many bugs since the initial rollout. After the UK, Samsung is expected to roll out the update in India.
