Galaxy Note 8 pre-registration page is live in Australia, though it’s good for nothing

Galaxy Note 8

Well, it seems like Samsung Galaxy Note 8’s pre-registration page is already live in Australia. You can, however, do nothing. Yes, that’s right. The page doesn’t allow you to register for the upcoming handset nor does it reveal anything about the Note 8 except for its tag line “Do bigger things.”

For the unaware, we are nearly a month away from the official launch of the smartphone. Samsung had only recently confirmed that the Galaxy Note 8 will be unveiled on August 23 at an Unpacked event in New York.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is expected to feature the Snapdragon 836 SoC under-the-hood which will be hooked to 6GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage space for the base variant.

Akin to the Galaxy S8+, the Note 8 will feature a massive 6.3-inch QHD bezel-less display which the company likes to refer to as the Infinity Display.

The imaging department of the smartphone will be taken care of by a 12 MP dual camera setup on the back with up to 3x optical zoom. The Galaxy Note 8 will most likely come with the Android Nougat which should later be upgraded to Android 8.0 (O) once it is official.
