We’ve just got a render of the Galaxy C7 Pro in sight today. The performance oriented C series began its journey with the launch of Galaxy C9 Pro a couple of months back and now we get to see the C7 Pro in all its glory.
Save for the round proximity sensor — which is oval-shaped on C9 Pro — the C7 Pro and C9 Pro share look very, very similar. except they different in size too.
The Galaxy C7 Pro doesn’t quite catch up to its older brother, the C9 Pro except for RAM, where it went for an overkill amount of 6GB. With a 5.7-inch FHD display, 3300mAh battery and the Snapdragon 626 inside, the internals seem to hold pretty strong. Add in an USB Type C port and fast charging and you’ve got a pretty decent smartphone in your hand.
Samsung is expected the release the C7 Pro around January 21, while it has delayed the release of Galaxy C5 Pro to February, to gill the gap between C7 Pro and Galaxy S8, which is its next big release.
For an upcoming device, Samsung will sadly ship Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow on board with the C7 Pro. That was expected too, because Samsung is yet to release the stable Nougat update for its Galaxy S7.
Hopefully we should see Nougat update arrive for Galaxy C7 soon after its release. Samsung also has some cool new tech planned with rumors and leaks for foldable devices floating around.
