For this Spring hunt, head to the far upper-left side of the world map, near the snowy area. The chest sits at the end of the top dotted sandy road, close to the small question-mark car marker shown in that area.
You can fast travel straight to the road end if you have the option available. Once you arrive, the chest is easy to spot because it is on or right beside the road rather than hidden deep off-route.
How to reach the Takashiro Treasure Hunt chest in Forza Horizon 6
Use the world map to line up the snowy upper-left area, then fast travel to the top dotted road and drive through the chest.

What happens after the chest appears
When you reach the end of the top dotted road, the treasure chest should be visible on or beside the road. You do not need a tune, a long runway, or a special approach angle.
Just line up your car, roll forward with a bit of speed, and hit the chest. The Spring Treasure Hunt completes as soon as the box breaks, awarding the Credits and Festival Playlist points for that week.
Fast travel to the end of the top dotted sandy road instead of starting from a landmark below the falls; the chest is right at the road end.
Wrong Takashiro search areas to avoid
Do not mix this Spring hunt with the older Hokubu Winter Treasure Hunt. That Winter chest and its Shikisai-No-Oka location belong to a different seasonal week, so following that route will send you to the wrong place for Takashiro.
Some route descriptions place the chest around the top of the waterfall above the Temple of Nachi Falls, near the border below Sotoyama, with Thunderbird Drift Zone as a possible starting point. That language can help describe the broader western Takashiro area, but for this guide, use the map route that leads to the top dotted sandy road by the snowy upper-left area.
The most common mistake is searching too low around the temple or waterfall base. Stay up near the road-end position shown on the map, because the chest is meant to be found quickly once you are in that upper-left road cluster.
Italian Exotics playlist pairing
The Takashiro chest is one of the faster objectives in Series 3 Italian Exotics Spring, so it is worth clearing before moving into longer seasonal events. If you are already working around Takashiro, you can pair it with nearby Spring objectives such as the Takashiro Bridge Speed Trap, which uses an S1-class Ferrari.
KEY!
Keep the Treasure Hunt separate from a full Festival Playlist sweep, though. For this objective, the only job is to reach the correct road end and smash the chest before the August 13, 2025 seasonal reset.
