Here’s a List of Fortnite Season 5 Guns

The new Fortnite season is making quite the buzz with its new map locations, skins, and a bunch of other new additions. With the Mandalorian and Baby Yoda, there’s definitely the Star Wars element in Season 5, a move away from the Marvel-theme that comprised the previous one.

The game meta is going to change considerably with the vaulting and unvaulting of some existing weapons. But there are new weapons added to the mix as well, some of which have been eagerly awaited by fans while others are completely unexpected.

In this guide, we will relay all the information that we’ve mined so far about the new weapons that you can expect to see in Fortnite Season 5.

1. Dragon’s Breath Shotgun

This is one weapon that has been eagerly awaited by fans ever since season 4 when its name along with its stats was first leaked. But the wait is finally over. Here’s what it looks like:

Other than flaunting a badass black and grey shade with a four-nozzled head, this gun looks like a beast and we expect it to destroy like one as well.

If the stats from the previous leaks still hold true, Dragon’s Breath shotgun is going to deal anything from 70 to 140 body damage and head damage from 83 to 175. With a clip size of 4, it’ll fire all four of them and deal splash damage every shot. Finally, it’s going to have a 4.2-second reload time.

As the season moves forward, there are going to be some changes introduced to the weapon stats, no doubt about it, and we’ll just have to wait and see how powerful this weapon truly is.

2. Mandalorian’s Amban Sniper Rifle

Ah, the Mandalorian’s iconic sniper rifle cum melee weapon! This was quite a surprise and a pleasant one at that. Being both a melee and a ranged weapon, it’s surely going to be a much-coveted weapon both for its dual capabilities as well as for its pop-culture significance.

Currently, there’s no information on the stats of the weapon. That and much more information will be revealed once the season officially launches. The only description we have of the weapon is this: ‘Bring ’em in warm, or bring ’em in cold’ – and we leave it at that.

3. Mandalorian’s Jet Pack

Trust us – we’re not trying to ruin Mandalorian Season 1 for you, but maybe Fortnite is. Either way, this addition is going to replace the jetpack by Stark Industries in Fortnite Season 4. There’s a dearth of information about this pack, but it’s a jetpack so how different could it be from the one we had in the previous season? We’ll find out soon enough.

4. Shadow Tracker

Basically, a pistol with a silencer. Most people aren’t thrilled about this weapon as they are about others. Nevertheless, this weapon can be expected to add some substance into quick, quiet kills, (and maybe even track targets) but that will depend on what exactly its stats are. We wonder though, how high could the stats be for a pistol? Perhaps it may only appeal to a particular group of players who like to experiment with the meta or just goof around.

5. The Dub

The Double Barrel Shotgun, dubbed ‘The Dub’, is a welcome addition and one that will get the fans interested in close-range game-play again. There’s very little to go on here as everyone’s still waiting to see what kind of stats this shotgun will flaunt. Whatever they may be, we’d have to wait a while to know.

6. Boom’s Sniper Rifle

This is another weapon that has made a comeback and fans are excited about its addition. We’re expecting to see, apart from the change in appearance, some boost to the stats from what they were in previous seasons. Do stay tuned for updates as we mine more information.
