Fortnite hands out creator codes and promotional codes every so often, and redeeming one can drop V-Bucks, cosmetic items, or other in-game rewards straight into your account. You just need to know where to type them in and how to check that they actually went through.

Working Fortnite Codes

There are no working Fortnite codes to redeem right now. We checked for new ones and came up empty, but this list gets updated the moment a fresh code goes live, so it’s worth a second look next time you’re gearing up to play.

How to redeem codes in Fortnite

Fortnite codes aren’t redeemed inside the game itself. You’ll need to head to the official redemption page on your browser and sign in with the same Epic Games account you use on your platform of choice.

Go to the Fortnite code redemption page and log in with your Epic Games account.
Type in the code exactly as it’s written, dashes and all. Pasting it instead of typing it out by hand saves you from mixing up a zero with the letter O or a one with the letter I.
Click Redeem, then hit Activate to confirm.
Open Fortnite on your console, PC, or mobile device. You’ll see a confirmation message on the website once the code goes through, and your reward will show up in your locker, or your V-Bucks balance will update, the next time you load into the game.

If the reward doesn’t show up right away, close and reopen Fortnite once more before trying the code again.

Expired Fortnite codes

These codes no longer work if you try redeeming them, so don’t waste your time typing them in.

How to get more Fortnite codes

New Fortnite codes typically come from creator collaborations, live events, and giveaways tied to the game’s official social accounts. Keeping an eye on Epic Games’ own announcements is your best bet for catching one before it expires, since these codes are often limited in how many times they can be claimed.

Codes don’t follow a fixed schedule. Some stick around for weeks tied to a specific promotion, while others are capped at a set number of redemptions and disappear once that limit is hit. Checking back here regularly is the simplest way to grab one while it’s still active.

Are Fortnite codes free?

Yes. Every code listed here is free to redeem, and none of them ask you to spend real money or V-Bucks to unlock the reward attached to them.

Why didn’t my Fortnite code work?

A code that doesn’t redeem is usually one that’s already expired or was typed in with a small mistake. Copy and paste it directly from wherever you found it, including every dash, and make sure you’re signed into the correct Epic Games account before hitting Redeem.

Bookmark this page and swing by whenever you’re about to jump into a match. As soon as Epic Games puts out a fresh code, it’ll land here with the reward attached so you know exactly what you’re claiming.
