Essential phone camera gets an update with improved performance and bug fixes

Launched in May, the Essential phone started shipping in August. Now that the users have the Essential phone with them, the Essential company has started pushing updates to apps.

From the basket of Essential products, the camera app has received a new update on Essential phones. The update arrives as version number 0.1.067.

The Essential camera update brings improvements in speed pertaining to color/mono image fusion. Besides that, the update brings a fix for 360 video saving. If you were facing issues related to 360 video saving, this update will resolve it.

You can also expect other performance and stability improvements from the update. To recap, the Essential phone comes with 5.71-inch QHD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, 4GB RAM and 128GB memory.

In terms of optics, you get 13MP Dual RGB + Mono camera with image fusion technology, 13MP True Monochrome mode (f/1.85) and 8MP front camera.
