The web version of Google Plus got a major UI overhaul recently, bringing some very nice features such as Conversation Cards, a dedicated Hangout page, and more. So it was only a matter of time before the Google+ Android app also got an update, and it has. The latest update to the app brings two new features; the ability to view previews of links that people share similar to the web version of Google+, as well as hashtag support (like Twitter, yes), which should result in you seeing a lot of #’s in your Google+ page now.

The update also brings the usual dose of stability and performance improvements as usual, and is now available for download on Google’s Play Store.
