It has only been a day since Google released the first factory image for Nexus 6P, and TeamWin already has us a fully functional build of TWRP recovery for the device.

TWRP recovery is the most advanced custom recovery for Android devices, you can use it for basics like taking a nandroid backup, installing custom ROMs/MODs, plus a number of other cool things that other custom recoveries don’t do.

You grab the Nexus 6P TWRP recovery from the download link below. Simply flash it via Fastboot and you’ll have it installed.

FYI, TWRP doesn’t yet support decrypting on Nexus 6P. And since Nexus 6P has forced encryption enabled, you need to flash a modified boot image with encryption-on-boot disabled to decrypt Nexus 6P.
