The Lenovo Z2 Plus, the Indian variant of the ZUK Z2, hasn’t officially received the update to Android 7.0 Nougat yet. The ZUK Z2 has received the update in China, but users in India are still waiting.
Thankfully, a member at XDA has uploaded the stock Nougat ROM for the Lenovo Z2 Plus. This is for the Z2132 variant, which is currently sold in India. We’re not sure if this is final version or if it’s a test version, but the user received it from Lenovo.
To install the update, you will need to download the Update.zip file and then copy it to the device. Once that is done, you will need to reboot to stock recovery, and install the zip. This will update your Z2 Plus to Nougat.
The update installs ZUI 2.5.087, which is indeed Android 7.0 Nougat. However, be aware that there might be bugs and issues after you update. The official release date of the Nougat update for Lenovo Z2 Plus isn’t known yet.

this is disappointing, Lenovo promised the 7.0 update within 2-3 months of it’s official release in ZUK Z2 plus, but it’s been more than 6 months and they r yet to fulfill their promises, this is not expected from a well established brand, customers will loose faith in their product if this continues to happen….
That was a bit disappointing but I’m pretty sure that all the users who would want an update would have simply updated it by rooting it and running a custom ROM.

i think the delay of the updates is disappointing but this is really a good phone with a cheap price. hopefully this phone comes to our country.

I had got the update notification in the drop down notification window.. Once i reached home and connected to wifi the notification had gone.
Now tired to update from the system update tab (in settings), it does not show the new update.
