What does the Dawn Chorus Exotic Warlock Helmet Do?
First up, let’s see what makes the Dawn Chorus Exotic Warlock Helmet does that makes it so appealing to players ever since it was revealed in the trailer.
This baby is going to set the world afire. Its basic effect makes your Daybreak projectiles deal additional damage to your enemies. But the fun part is that they end up burning upon contact which also generates melee energy for you.
So, if you want to ensure that your foes remain in a perpetual state of damage while also providing you with energy for your melee attacks, the Dawn Chorus Exotic Warlock Helmet is going to be invaluable. This means that your enemies don’t get a moment of respite as you ruthlessly eliminate them en masse.

How to get the Dawn Chorus Exotic Warlock Helmet
Getting this exotic gear item is far from easy and is contingent upon your power level and a little bit of luck. Let’s take a look at these requirements and ensure that you understand what to do exactly so you don’t end up wasting your time and effort.
Requirements for the Dawn Chorus Exotic Warlock Helmet
Similar to obtaining other Exotic gear in the latest expansion, the Dawn Chorus Helmet requires you to reach at least 1200 power level first. Thereafter, you’ll have to access one of the following from the Director:
- Legendary Lost Sectors (Power Level 1250)
- Master Lost Sectors (Power Level 1280)
Both of these have to be completed solo in Europa or the European Dead Zone. This is an important requirement to note. If you play with allies, you won’t receive the exotic drops.
Fair warning: These are amongst the hardest game challenges as the enemies are ultra-strong and will require you to be on your best game. Also, once you eliminate the boss, you will also have to kill all the champions for the helmet to drop.

And then there’s the luck factor: specific gear items drop only on certain days. Therefore, before you begin either the Legendary or Master Lost Sectors, ensure that the Dawn Chorus Exotic Warlock Helmet is mentioned as a reward upon completing the mission. On top of that, you should also be playing on ‘Warlock’. This should keep you from being disappointed at the end of the run.
But don’t be dejected by all these requirements. There’s some hope in getting the Dawn Chorus Exotic Warlock Helmet as it has a fairly decent drop rate. On the Legendary difficulty, its rating is ‘Uncommon’, while on the Master difficulty, it’s ‘Common’.
That means you have a good chance of receiving the coveted Exotic Helmet at the end of the game, that is if you can manage to survive.
