Dell has announced the launch of the Dell Venue 10 7000 tablet that is almost similar to its predecessor in terms of internal aspects. The device is priced at $499 without the keyboard that costs an additional $130. The Dell slate will be released in May 2015 in US, Canada and China.
The Dell Venue 10 7000 is powered by an Intel Atom Z3580 processor backed by 2 GB of RAM. There is an 8 MP main snapper at the back of the slate with Dell’s RealSense 3D technology. Also, the device is energized by an enormous 7,000 mAh battery that is a significant bump from the 5,900 mAh battery in its prequel.
The display measures 10.5 inches and it is an AMOLED panel carrying a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels. There is a substantial cylinder on the side of the Dell Venue 10 7000 that includes the battery and stereo speakers. There is a 2 MP webcam at the front for video conferencing.
The tablet connects to an optional keyboard that will transform it into a laptop making it productive. The tablet made of aluminum is based on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system onboard. It is loaded with Android for Work that is aimed at businesses to separate the work data from the personal data.
