During the launch of Zenfone Zoom last year in December, Asus claimed to usher in a new era of mobile photography with the world’s thinnest 3x optical-zoom smartphone. Asus claims that Zenfone Zoom comes with an innovative 10-element HOYA lens arrangement for crisp detail and up to 12x total magnification. Other features of the 13 MP rear camera include rock-steady optical image stabilization (OIS), dual-LED Real Tone flash for perfect lighting and revolutionary 0.03 seconds laser auto-focus. It also houses 5MP PixelMaster front camera.

The phone is equipped with a 5.5 inch IPS LCD display with Gorilla Glass 4 on top. The SoC on board is Intel Atom Z3580 paired with Quad-core 2.3 GHz chipset and PowerVR G6430 GPU.
