The target is a stronger Kindling setup. Jormuntide Ignis is the dedicated furnace smelter: it carries Kindling and nothing else, which means it never wanders off to another job station mid-shift. Renjishi is the more flexible pick, since it pairs the highest natural Kindling in the game with strong Handiwork and Transporting, so it earns a permanent base slot rather than just a furnace slot.
Jormuntide and Blazamut are not throwaways either. Jormuntide is one of the best Watering Pals in 1.0, and Blazamut is one of the best Mining Pals — both worth keeping and condensing rather than boxing.

How to breed Jormuntide Ignis, Blazamut, and Renjishi in Palworld
The older step-by-step chain has been cut because its formulas do not match current breeding data. Do not start from Gildane + Dumud expecting Frostplume; that pairing currently gives Tarantriss.

When passives are worth chasing
Do not stall this chain trying to roll perfect traits. Through early and mid game these Pals are excellent Kindling workers almost regardless of what they inherit, and passives can be cleaned up later once you have the tools for it. The one exception is anything that drags down work speed — a negative work trait is the only passive that genuinely undercuts a finished worker, and negative traits can only be bred out against a clean partner.
When you do get around to it, the passives worth targeting on a base worker are Demon’s Hand, Remarkable Craftsmanship, Artisan, and Work Slave. Traits like Vampiric and Nocturnal that let a Pal work through the night get suggested a lot, but on most base rosters they are not necessary — and on Dark Pals they are redundant anyway.
You have two ways to fix passives after the fact. Passives can be passed down during breeding using a Pal that carries the traits you want, or you can unlock the Pal Surgery Table at roughly level 35 to 40 and edit them directly. The surgery route is far less painful than re-rolling eggs.
Getting these Pals to Kindling level 10
Palworld 1.0 replaced the old 1-4 work suitability scale with a 1-10 scale, and no Pal in the wild — or straight out of an egg — starts at 10. Renjishi tops out naturally at Kindling 8 and Jormuntide Ignis at Kindling 7, so hatching one is the beginning of the job rather than the end.
The main lever is the Pal Essence Condenser. Each rank you raise a Pal adds one level to a work suitability, and taking it to 4-star max rank bumps its stats further, which is what carries a level-8 specialist to 9. Work auras close the last gap: Katress Ignis carries a Kindling aura that grants +1 Kindling to every other Pal at the base, and that aura can itself be inherited through breeding. Stack condensing and an aura and the ceiling is reachable — ignore both and your freshly hatched Renjishi will sit well short of it.
Base setup before your first egg
You need the Breeding Farm, unlocked at Technology Level 19 and placed inside your base. Cake is the fuel: build a Cooking Pot, assign any Pal with Kindling to it, and keep the Farm’s chest stocked, since every egg eats one Cake.
From there it is a loop — assign one male and one female, collect the egg, move it to an Egg Incubator, and adjust the incubator temperature until it hatches. Then swap in the next pair from the chain above.

Can you get Jormuntide Ignis early by breeding in Palworld?
Yes. Jormuntide Ignis can also be hunted in high-risk irradiated biomes, but breeding is the realistic early option once you have Technology Level 19 for the Breeding Farm and enough Cake to run breeding attempts.
Is Renjishi better than Jormuntide Ignis for Kindling?
Renjishi has the higher Kindling number, but Jormuntide Ignis is the better pure furnace Pal precisely because Kindling is all it does — it will never abandon a smelting job for a workbench. The ideal answer is both: put Jormuntide Ignis on furnace duty and let Renjishi float across Kindling, Handiwork, and Transporting.
Do passives matter before the late game?
Not much. A Renjishi with mediocre traits still out-works almost anything else you can field at that point, and since the Pal Surgery Table arrives around level 35 to 40 anyway, chasing traits early mostly costs you Cake and time.
Why should I catch both male and female versions of the required Pals?
The Farm only accepts one male and one female. Without spares you can end up waiting on an idle Pal or heading back out to catch a replacement of the opposite sex mid-chain.
