How to redeem codes in Borderlands 4

You can redeem Shift codes either through your web browser before you play or straight from the in-game menu while your Vault Hunter is loaded in. Both methods deliver rewards to the same in-game mailbox.

Log in to your Shift account on the official Gearbox Shift website, or open the Shift menu directly from the Borderlands 4 pause screen if you’re already in-game.

Make sure your platform (Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, or Epic) is linked to your Shift account, since rewards are delivered based on that linked platform.

Enter one code at a time into the redemption field, copying it exactly with all dashes included, then confirm the submission.

Launch Borderlands 4 and check your in-game mail. Golden Keys land in your mailbox, while cosmetic items appear in your customization menus once claimed.
