Blade V8 Pro OTA update (build 19) fixes Music app issue and installs January security patch

The ZTE Blade V8 Pro is receiving a new update that fixes bugs and installs the January Android security patch. This is the first software update for the Blade V8 Pro since its release last month.

The new update is available as an OTA and it is recommended that your device is fully charger or connected to a charger when installing it. Also, make sure you’re connected to a strong Wi-Fi network.

ZTE listened to all the comments and complaints made on the forum and has managed to fix most of the bugs. Firstly, the music app bug, which caused the app to force close after 15 minutes, has been fixed. Second, the time sync bug with the widget has also been taken care of. Finally, the UI and language have been optimized along with other performance improvements.

As mentioned at the start, this update also installs the January Android security patch. Hopefully the next update would install the latest security patch, as we’re already in March. The ZTE Blade V8 Pro runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
