BlackBerry, the Canadian smartphone vendor, finally seems to have gotten its mojo back with the BlackBerry KEYone. We say this as the smartphone went on to become the most pre-ordered BlackBerry handset at Rogers.
President and General Manager at TCL Communications, Steve Cistulli broke the news via a tweet. His exact tweet read “@BBMobile 2/ Demand for the KEYone has been outstanding… we’ve received the most reservations ever at @Rogers for a BlackBerry device.”
For the unaware, Rogers, the Canadian carrier has started accepting pre-order requests on May 19. You can get your hands on the device by paying CAD 679 (approximately $505) outright. The carrier is also offering the smartphone on a contract basis (two-year) for which the prices start at CAD 0 and reach as high as CAD 200.

The smartphone has already been launched in the UK and will go on sale in Canada starting May 31. In case you are looking for carriers other than Rogers, the smartphone will be made available to users on Bell, Bell MTS, SaskTel, and Telus.
Also, the company will unveil the BlackBerry KEYone in the US on the same date, i.e., on May 31.
