Evernote founder Phil Libin has rebranded his video startup mmhmm to Airtime. The company, which started in 2020 during the pandemic, has now introduced two new products designed to improve the quality of online meetings.
The first product, Airtime Camera, is a virtual camera tool. It helps you look more professional during video calls on platforms like Zoom, Teams, Meet, and Webex. You can use it to change your background, add a logo, or use images and GIFs to react during meetings. These features are meant to help you stand out or strengthen your brand when attending large online conferences.
The second product, Airtime Creator, is a presentation tool. Instead of just showing slides, you can present them while appearing on screen. Up to ten people can be on screen at the same time. You can also customize the look, background, and layout of your presentation. The goal is to make meetings more interactive and memorable, encouraging people to participate rather than keeping their cameras off.
With the rebranding, users who already have the mmhmm app will see the name and icon change to Airtime. The company has raised $100 million in funding from investors like Sequoia Capital and SoftBank Vision Fund.
You can try Airtime Camera for free until August 1. After that, it will require a one-time payment of $20. Airtime Creator offers a free trial, but continued use will cost $10 per month.
