Smartphones are the hottest commodities in the market right now. Everybody wants the latest best. In sales like Amazon Great Indian Festival, smartphones play quite a role in attracting the masses. This year, the sale is scheduled between 10th and 15th of October 2018 and is making quite a noise in the smartphone section. Let’s see what punches does this sale pack.
The heaviest discount in this up and coming sale is on Samsung Galaxy S9. Priced at INR 57,900, the phone is going down to INR 42,990 – a slash of around INR 15,000. This is saying something as the phone was a thorough trendsetter when it was released earlier this year.
The discounts face a steep drop after S9 with Galaxy A8+, which will be seen selling for INR 23990, facing only a 6,000 reduction over the current price of INR 29,990.
Up next, we have OnePlus 6 (6GB/64GB) and Huawei P20 Pro (6GB/128GB), both losing INR 5000 over their respective current price of 34,999 and 64,999. Yes, the OnePlus 6T is around the corner — launch date is set at October 30, BTW – but the OnePlus 6 is an excellent phone and at just INR 30,000, it’s an absolute steal!
The P20 Pro is another great phone, and the only one with as many as three cameras at the back — so it’s good to see what some call the best camera phone on the list here. No doubt, this feature-rich phone will see quite a number during the 6-day sale period.
Its sibling, P20 Lite, and the Huawei Nova 3i, are also seeing great discounts. P20 lite has a price slash of around INR 4,000 and will be sold for INR 15,999 instead of the current INR 19,999. This 4GB/64GB variant is a sought-after mid-range phone and is expected to grab a lot of eyeballs due to its 24MP front-facing camera and glossy design.
While Nova 3i, another great smartphone, is seeing a discount of INR 3,000 — which is also massive, mind you! — as its price has been knocked down from INR 20,990 to 17,990.

To know more, you can always refer to the table above which will give you an idea of what discount to expect from your favorite phone in the latest lot.
However, an honest advice, don’t buy a phone without first glancing through the specs. The discount may be lucrative but it won’t be of any use if the phone doesn’t meet your actual requirements.
