If you have reached the Maze of Sin in Beast of Reincarnation and found a wall that refuses to move, you do not need a stronger sword or a new movement ability. The solution is much simpler: look for the explosive container placed beside the weak section of wall and shoot it. The resulting explosion destroys the barrier and opens the route forward.

The confusion comes from the fact that the game does not always make the explosive object immediately obvious. Some of the later sections also place the container around a corner or behind stone pillars, making it easy to assume that the wall requires another solution.

Beast of Reincarnation Maze of Sin location

The Maze of Sin is located in the southern part of the Great Wall Terraces area in the Mountainous Region. It becomes relevant during Chapter 3: The Vessel, after the events of Chapter 2 lead Emma and Koo into the Mountainous Region. GamesHorizon describes it as a hidden underground-style area rather than a standard route through the region.

If you have already unlocked the Maze of Sin campsite, you can fast travel there. Otherwise, the Great Forest campsite is one of the nearby starting points from which you can reach the area.

How to destroy the first Maze of Sin wall in Beast of Reincarnation

Step 1

Reach the Maze of Sin area and look for the weakly structured wall blocking the route.

The important clue is the explosive vase positioned close to the wall. It can be easy to overlook if you are concentrating on the blocked path itself.

Step 2

Equip Emma’s bow or crossbow and aim at the explosive vase.

You do not need to attack the wall directly. The wall is designed to be destroyed by the explosion generated by the nearby container. Current walkthrough information specifically confirms that shooting the explosive vase opens the first route into the maze.

Step 3

Shoot the explosive vase from a safe distance.

The container will explode, destroying the weak wall and creating an opening. Do not stand directly beside the container when you shoot it, because the resulting explosion can damage Emma.

Step 4

Wait for the flames to clear before walking through.

The explosion leaves fire around the opening for a short period. You can either wait for it to disappear or move through quickly if you are prepared to take some damage. The current guide recommends waiting unless you have enough Recovery Tonics to comfortably handle the damage.

How to break the next wall inside the maze

The same basic mechanic appears again after you enter the Maze of Sin.

Once inside, you will encounter shipping containers and another weak wall with an explosive container nearby. This time, shooting the container opens another route, but the newly accessible area is guarded by Rat Malefacts.

Defeat the enemies and use the nearby stairs to continue.

This section is also worth exploring instead of rushing straight through. The shipping containers around the area can contain useful collectibles, including Electronic Brains and strongboxes. Current collectible guides also list several items and containers around the Maze of Sin entrance and its interior.

How to know which walls can be destroyed

The destructible walls in this section have a noticeably weaker structure compared with the surrounding environment. More importantly, the game generally places an explosive container somewhere near the wall.

When you encounter a suspicious barrier, look around the immediate area before trying different attacks. If you see an explosive vase or canister nearby, that is the strongest indication that the wall is intended to be destroyed with a ranged shot.

This also fits Beast of Reincarnation’s broader exploration design. Emma can use her ranged weapons and plant-based abilities for more than combat, while Koo can help identify useful objects and hidden resources. The game’s environments combine traversal with environmental puzzles rather than making every obstacle a combat check.

What is beyond the Maze of Sin walls

Video help

Breaking the walls is not simply about taking a shortcut. The Maze of Sin contains collectibles, strongboxes, and other useful items.

After progressing through the explosive-wall sections, you eventually reach the Maze of Sin: Interior Campsite. This campsite marks an important point in the area and provides a place to prepare before the encounter ahead.

The area also contains a strong enemy encounter. A Headless Golem is found near the campsite, and defeating it rewards the Oil Container Manual. A lore document called Transgressions can also be collected from the nearby robotic corpse.

The maze therefore rewards players who take the time to explore the side rooms rather than simply following the main route.
