To heal in Beast of Reincarnation, open Inventory, go to Consumables, and use a Stimpack, or quick-use it during gameplay by holding Up on the D-pad on PS5.
Healing in Beast of Reincarnation is built around consumable recovery items. The main one is the Stimpack, while Emergency Medicine and Resurrection Tonic cover more specific recovery needs.
Fastest HP restore

The quickest way to refill Emma’s HP is to consume a Stimpack. Use it from Inventory > Consumables, or use the PS5 shortcut by holding Up on the D-pad when a Stimpack is available.
If the shortcut does nothing, check your remaining stock first. Once your Stimpacks are gone, the shortcut has nothing to spend.

Recovery consumables in Beast of Reincarnation
| Item | Use | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Stimpack | Emma HP recovery | Restores 2188 HP |
| Emergency Medicine | Emma recovery and cleanse | Restores 816 HP and cures all status effects |
| Resurrection Tonic | Koo revival | Revives Koo with 70% of max HP |
The three recovery consumables serve different jobs. Stimpack is Emma’s standard HP item, Emergency Medicine is the status-cleanse option, and Resurrection Tonic is for bringing back Koo, not for Emma’s normal self-heal.
Check your Stimpack count before a hard fight; the PS5 shortcut only helps when a Stimpack is still in your Consumables.
Getting more Stimpacks
Extra Stimpacks can turn up randomly, so keep checking pickups as you move through the world. By default, Emma can hold up to three Stimpacks, which makes each one worth saving for real danger instead of every small hit.
KEY!Plan around random finds rather than a shop, crafting recipe, fixed location, or farm route.
Healing mistakes to avoid

If a heal seems missing, open Inventory and check the Consumables tab instead of looking through equipment or materials. The recovery items sit there, and the quick-use heal depends on having a Stimpack left.
Do not spend Resurrection Tonic expecting Emma’s regular heal, and do not copy the PS5 shortcut onto PC or Xbox by guesswork. For other platforms, check the in-game controls menu for the healing bind.
