Green Thumb unlocks after you obtain one of each of the 11 unique Crop Seedling types, so identify every type in your inventory instead of farming every duplicate Seedling node in Beast of Reincarnation.
Crop Seedlings begin appearing from Chapter 1: Seedling, and the hunt continues across the major regions you unlock through the story. The efficient route is a regional cleanup pass: open chests, check Strongboxes, and grab glowing plant pickups until your inventory shows 11 distinct Seedling entries.

Green Thumb needs unique Crop Seedling types

Green Thumb checks variety, not raw pickup count. A new Seedling type should appear as its own inventory entry, while another copy of a Seedling you already own only adds a duplicate and does not move the trophy forward.
KEY!
That means the trophy is not asking you to strip every Seedling node from the world. Once you have one of each of the 11 unique Crop Seedlings, extra Seedling pickups are just cleanup loot.
Sort the hunt by inventory names, not node count: after each region, look for a new Seedling entry before you spend time repeating already-cleared areas.
All 11 Seedling locations in Beast of Reincarnation
| # | Seedling | Earliest Location | How to Find |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Rice | Ogouchi Buffer Zone | Northeast of Tailwater Village campsite on the upper rice terraces near the wooden walkway. |
| 2 | Potato | Ancient Civilization Zone | Inside the first building on the right after entering the area, near the opening enemy group. |
| 3 | Soya Bean | Ogouchi Buffer Zone | Northwest of Tailwater Village campsite inside a building. Another copy is found in a cave northeast of the village. |
| 4 | Tomato | Ancient Civilization Zone | Grapple west from the Raging River campsite to a higher platform with a tree. |
| 5 | Wheat | Ancient Civilization Zone | Buy from the Ancient Golem merchant south of the Raging River campsite. |
| 6 | Lettuce | Ancient Civilization Zone | Purchased from the same Ancient Golem merchant that sells Wheat. |
| 7 | Biwafruit | Great Wall Terraces | Near the large statue to the right of the area’s first bulkhead. |
| 8 | Strawberry | Great Wall Terraces | Buy from the Wandering Merchant south of the Mountain Plaza: Forefront campsite. |
| 9 | Apple | Great Wall Terraces | Northeast of the Maze of Sin Entrance campsite beside a metal container. |
| 10 | Carrot | Pilgrim’s Zone | North of the Scorched Grassland campsite inside a shack near the story-required cave. |
| 11 | Life Seedling | Matsukawa Zone | South of Upper Matsukawa Colony (Front). Go through the central pillar door, ride the elevator down, and pick it up from a table in the first room. |
The current build does not expose all 11 English Seedling names beside precise map coordinates, so this table uses numbered region checks; match the exact item names inside your inventory as you collect them.
Seedling sweep setup for the launch build
This route is for the current build of Beast of Reincarnation; guide and map coverage was already available before August 2026, so it did not launch on August 4, 2026. A first major balance and quality-of-life patch has been announced, but the Seedling sweep here assumes the current state.
You can start watching for Crop Seedlings from Chapter 1: Seedling, then continue the sweep as the story opens more regions. Later access matters because the full set stretches beyond the first zone.
Treat every region as a full loot pass. Crop Seedlings can sit inside normal chests, inside Strongboxes, or out in the open as glowing plant pickups, so checking only one pickup type leaves gaps.
Each Crop Seedling check by region

Seedling 1 in Ogouchi Buffer Zone
Region: Ogouchi Buffer Zone. Start from any unlocked campsite or fast travel point in the starting region and clear every Crop Seedling spot you can reach, including chests, Strongboxes, and wild glowing pickups.
Seedling 2 in Ogouchi Buffer Zone
Region: Ogouchi Buffer Zone. Revisit the early Chapter 1: Seedling paths before assuming the missing type is in a late region, because starting zones can still hold unique Seedling progress.
Seedling 3 in Ancient Civilization Zone
Region: Ancient Civilization Zone. If Raging River is available, use that camp as a staging point, then work outward through the zone’s Crop Seedling pickups and containers.
Seedling 4 in Ancient Civilization Zone
Region: Ancient Civilization Zone. Make a second pass through the same region after clearing obvious pickups, because a missed Strongbox can hide a Seedling just as easily as a visible glowing plant.
Seedling 5 in The Great Wall Terraces
Region: The Great Wall Terraces. Use your unlocked camp or fast travel point for the area, then clear the region’s Crop Seedling markers without skipping standard chests on the route.
Seedling 6 in Pilgrim’s Zone
Region: Pilgrim’s Zone. Sweep the zone once story access opens it, checking each glowing plant pickup and opening every Strongbox that sits near the Seedling route.
Seedling 7 in Matsukawa Zone
Region: Matsukawa Zone. Treat this as a container-and-plant cleanup pass: chests, Strongboxes, and glowing wild pickups all belong on the same checklist.
Seedling 8 in Fuji Frontier Zone
Region: Fuji Frontier Zone. Work from your nearest unlocked travel point and clear the Crop Seedling spots before moving on to later regions, then check your inventory for a fresh Seedling name.
Seedling 9 in Giant Tree Zone
Region: Giant Tree Zone. Do not stop at the first glowing pickup in the region; open the nearby Seedling containers as well, since the trophy is tied to unique types.
Seedling 10 in Crater Zone
Region: Crater Zone. Sweep the region’s Crop Seedling spots once you have access, giving Strongboxes the same priority as normal chests and wild glowing plants.
Seedling 11 in Inukami River Zone
Region: Inukami River Zone. Use this as your final region check, then open the inventory and count the distinct Crop Seedling entries before chasing duplicate nodes elsewhere.
Recommended regional cleanup route
Ogouchi Buffer Zone

Recheck the Chapter 1: Seedling area and clear every chest, Strongbox, and glowing Crop Seedling pickup.
Ancient Civilization Zone

Use unlocked camps, including Raging River if available, then finish the zone’s Seedling spots.
The Great Wall Terraces

Clear the region’s Crop Seedling route before pushing deeper into later areas.
Pilgrim’s Zone

Open every Strongbox you pass while collecting the zone’s glowing Seedling pickups.
Matsukawa Zone

Treat standard chests and wild plant pickups as one combined Seedling pass.
Fuji Frontier Zone

Sweep the unlocked Crop Seedling spots and compare your inventory before leaving.
Giant Tree Zone

Check containers and glowing plants together so the region does not leave a hidden gap.
Crater Zone

Clear the region after story access opens it, with Strongboxes included in the pass.
Inukami River Zone

Finish the final regional sweep and confirm that your inventory shows 11 distinct Crop Seedling entries.
Green Thumb troubleshooting checks
If Green Thumb stays locked, check your inventory first. You need 11 separate Crop Seedling entries, not a high quantity of the same few names.
Next, audit Strongboxes. They are easy to mentally separate from regular Seedling pickups, but they can be part of the Crop Seedling hunt just like chests and glowing plants.
Finally, revisit Ogouchi Buffer Zone and Ancient Civilization Zone. Rushing through early story areas can leave a starter-region Seedling behind even after several later regions look clean.
Nearby collectibles worth clearing
The same regional sweep pairs well with campsites for Happy Camper, Keeper Golems for Finders, Keepers, blade and arrow/bolt manuals for Blade Collector and Manual Maniac, plus shrines and lore paintings for Soul Returned and Behold, the Truth.
Keeper Golems are especially worth speaking to as you move through each region, because some of them mark nearby points of interest on your map and make missed exploration rewards easier to clean up.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do duplicate Seedlings count toward Green Thumb?
No. A duplicate Crop Seedling can increase the amount of an item you already own, but it does not create a new unique inventory entry for Green Thumb.
Can Seedlings be missed permanently?
The current route does not tie Crop Seedlings to optional bosses exclusive to later chapters. If you skipped an early pickup, return to that region after you have travel access and clean up the remaining chests, Strongboxes, and glowing plants.
Do you need every Seedling pickup on the map?
No. You only need one of each unique Crop Seedling type. Once the inventory shows 11 distinct Seedling entries, extra Seedling nodes are no longer required for the trophy.
