One of the largest telecom companies in the United States, AT&T, has started rolling out software updates for the Samsung Galaxy S10 series, S9 series, LG G8 ThinQ, and LG V35, bringing the September security patch to the devices.
While some carriers struggle to roll out security updates in time, AT&T has always managed to maintain its edge over competitors. It has taken them a few weeks to sort it out this time, but it’s still acceptable considering we’re still in the business end of September.
Samsung recently released a beefy update for the Galaxy S10, lending some of Note 10’s exclusive features to the older 2019 flagship. From AR Doodles to Live Focus in Video, the OTA brought a bunch of goodies, but it hasn’t been announced for the Snapdragon variant yet. So, if you were hoping to try your hands on the features, we’re sorry to say that the AT&T update brings none of those.
The September patch carries software version G970USQS2ASI6, G973USQS2ASI6, G975USQS2ASI6, and G977UUCS2YSI1 for the Galaxy S10e, S10, S10 Plus, and S10 5G, respectively. For Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus, the software versions are G960USQS6CSH7 and G965USQS6CSH7, respectively.
LG devices, G8 ThinQ and V35, receive September 2019 security patch through build numbers G820UM10n and V350AWM20d, respectively.
