ASUS is preparing to launch a pair of big-battery phones soon, maybe even before CES 2019 in January. Well, today the ZenFone Max 2 and ZenFone Max Pro M2 leaked in full glory in a series of pictures that leave nothing to the imagination. Most of their specs have also been revealed.

Both the ZenFone Max 2 and Max Pro M2 will arrive featuring a notch on top of the display, but in the case of the former, it’s going to be a smaller one.

The ZenFone Max 2 is the base model set to arrive with a metal backplate and carrying a 6-inch display with 2340 x 1080 resolution. The phone will be based on a Snapdragon 636 processor, which is the same chipset that powers phones like the Motorola One.

As for the ZenFone Max Pro M2, this is a higher-end model which will feature a glass back and a more respectable Snapdragon 660 under the hood. The device will take advantage of the same 6-inch screen with FHD+ resolution, and will also offer the services of a 12MP+5MP main dual-camera. The handset will be powered by a large 5,000 mAh battery.

ASUS will be selling both phones with 4GB of RAM on board.

There are still some elements missing from the puzzle. For example, we still don’t know the battery capacity of the Max 2, nor do we have any details about the cameras. It’s also a mystery whether the phones will launch with Android Oreo or not. Our hope is that they will have Pie pre-installed from the get-go.
