zenfone 3 update

Asus has started rolling out a new software update for the Asus Zenfone 3, model ZE520KL. The update includes several improvements and bug fixes. It is available as an OTA update right now.

If you own the Zenfone 3, then you would happy to know that the update improves the camera performance and stability. Installing the update will also enable CHT VoLTE, a very useful inclusion for users in Taiwan.

Apart from that, the compatibility of Bluetooth and system stability have been improved in this update. There will also be several bug fixes under the hood to provide a better experience. Last week, the Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie also received an update that included camera improvements.

The software version of the update is 14.2020.1711.75 and it could take anywhere from a day to a week to arrive. Make sure your device is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network and has more than 50 percent charge, before updating. You can manually check for the update by launching the Settings app and navigating to About > System update.

It has been confirmed that all phones in the Zenfone 3 and Zenfone 4 series will receive the Android Oreo update. Asus is also currently working on the next Zenfone 5 smartphone, which is slated to arrive in March next year.
