Asus rolling out updates for ZenFone 3, 3 Deluxe and ZenPad

Asus has just started rolling out new software updates for the Zenfone 3, the Zenfone 3 Deluxe, and the Asus Zenpad tablet. The updates include new features, bug fixes, and newer Android security patches.

All three devices are receiving the update over-the-air. The Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe (ZS550KL) is getting the software version 25.40.219.38 which includes the latest Android security patch. It also fixes a bug where records sometimes went missing in the phone book and also adjusts the PWS Settings UI.

Asus released ZenUI 4.0 for Zenfone 3 Max

The Zenfone 3 (ZE520KL) is getting software version 14.2020.1711.81, which improves the performance and stability of the camera app. After installing the update, you should also see improvements in system performance. The Zenfone 3 received another update earlier this month.

Finally, the ZenPad (Z301MFL) tablet is also getting a new software update carrying the version number V14.0410.1711.51. This update brings more stability to the Wi-Fi connectivity. It also includes upgrades for the APN, Gallery app, GMS, and bumps the Android security patch to the November version.

All of these updates can take up to a few days to be available for all users. If you haven’t received the update notification yet, you can check it manually by heading to Settings > About > System Update.
