Android Oreo now available for the Verizon Galaxy Tab S3 and other U.S. variants

The Android tablet market has dwindled significantly over the years and the fact that manufacturers have stopped releasing premium tablets each year shown that the consumers don’t care for it as much as they once did. However, a few names in the Android tablet business still live on, such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, which is now being brought up to speed with the rest of the flagship devices from the company as regards software with the launch of Android 8.0 Oreo OS.

Specifically, in the United States, network carrier Verizon has released Android 8.0 Oreo update for the Galaxy Tab S3. Carrying the build number T827VVRU1BRD4 and security patch from April 2018, the latest software update for the device also brings along Samsung Experience 9.0 with its slew of features.

The update is being pushed out across the United States incrementally, so it could take a few days for users to receive the OTA notification.
