Huawei has been in the speculations to be prepping a budget challenger to the Xiaomi Redmi lineup. Now, there appears to be more evidence proving the existence of an entry level smartphone called Honor Cherry.
As per the reports, the smartphone called Huawei Honor Cherry is expected to be aimed at the emerging markets such as India and Russia with its low price tag of $250. The specifications of the device include a 13 MP main snapper at its back and an octa core HiSilicon Kirin 620 SoC with 64 bit support. This chipset is claimed to have been built on the 28 nm process and house Mali-450MP4 graphics unit and 150 Mbps LTE connectivity support.
The report has also revealed a camera sample revealing 7 MP resolution. The 13 MP main snapper seems to have 1/3.2 inch sensor and f/2.0 aperture. The Honor Cherry is said to be juiced up by a 2,550 mAh battery as in the Samsung Galaxy S6 and render up to 51 hours of mediocre usage, 20 hours of heavy usage and 80 hours of very light usage.
We are yet to receive more details about this Huawei Honor Cherry smartphone that will be launched to compete with the Xiaomi Redmi lienup.
