All Skins and How to Unlock Them in Animal Hospital

Animal Hospital hands out a lot of jobs but only one way to look different while doing them. Every skin in the game is tied to a class, paid for in Animal Coins, and bought through the same shop you already use to pick your role before a shift. That means the whole cosmetic system comes down to two questions: which class you actually play, and how many coins you have saved.

What skins change in Animal Hospital

The important catch is ownership. A skin belongs to the class you bought it for, not to your account, so a look you unlock for the Nurse cannot be worn as the Surgeon. Every class carries its own default appearance plus its own list of optional skins in the shop menu, and once you buy one it stays permanently available whenever you play that class.

That is the current known skin list rather than a fixed, finished catalog — Animal Hospital is still getting updates, and new classes bring new cosmetics with them. The Secretary Classic skin exists in the shop but its cost has not been revealed yet, so check the in-game menu before budgeting for it. The Secret Agent’s second skin, the 2,000-coin one, is worth double-checking against the shop label too.

How to buy skins from the Classes shop in Animal Hospital

Every skin in the game is bought the same way, through the Classes interaction in the server lobby.

Enter the lobby

Join a server and stay in the lobby rather than starting a shift.

Open the Classes shop

Walk to the Classes area on the left side of the lobby and press E to open it.

Select your class

Pick the class you want to customize and its 3D model appears in the center of the screen.

Open the Skins menu

Click the Skins button above the class model to see that class’s full skin list.

Buy with Animal Coins

Choose the cosmetic you want and confirm the purchase; the coin cost is deducted and the model changes to the new look.

The skin you buy is yours for good on that class, so it is waiting for you the next time you clock in for a shift as that role.

Affordable first buys if you are low on coins

You do not need thousands of Animal Coins to change how you look. Nurse Classic at 20 coins is the cheapest cosmetic in the game and realistically within reach after a couple of shifts, with Paramedic Classic only five coins behind it. Both do the job if you just want to stop looking like the default.

A step above that sit Psychologist Classic, Doctor Classic, and the Intern’s Rascal skin, all still comfortably under a few shifts’ worth of savings. The smart play early on is to buy the cheap skin for the role you already main and bank everything else, because the expensive cosmetics cost more than every budget skin put together.

Saving up for the premium cosmetics

The 500-coin bracket is where skins start looking genuinely distinctive rather than just recolored. Assistant Nurse, the Psychologist’s Psycho skin, and Secret Agent Classic all sit at that price, and each one is a real commitment compared to the classics.

Above them, Hospital Cop for the Security class is a 1,000-coin purchase, and the two priciest cosmetics in the game — the Head Nurse’s Supervisor skin and the Secret Agent’s second skin — cost 2,000 Animal Coins each. Treat these as long-term goals you chip away at across many shifts. None of them makes you better at the job; they are collection pieces, and there is no reason to rush one out of fear of missing an edge.

Mistakes players make with skins

Two assumptions cause most of the confusion. Skins never drop randomly during a shift and are not quest rewards — direct purchase through the Classes shop is the only route. And they are not account-wide unlocks, so styling three classes means buying three separate skins.
