The Ultimate plans are the final plan gates for the Jackdaw, and Resynced keeps the hunt split between Diving Bell wrecks and buried treasure chests. If one final upgrade is still locked at the Harbourmaster, use the table first, then follow the matching route below.

The underwater plans are all large-chest rewards inside Diving Bell areas. The buried plans are two-part routes: loot the correct skeleton map first, then visit the dig location so the prompt appears.
Diving Bell and treasure map requirements
You need the Diving Bell before the underwater half of the list opens up. It becomes available around Sequence 6, during the Diving for Medicines story mission, and the first medicine dive can already give you an Ultimate plan.
KEY!Treasure-map plans work differently. Standing at the right dig spot is not enough; the game usually will not show the dig prompt until you have looted that plan’s matching treasure map from its skeleton.
Open gameplay settings and turn unlimited oxygen on before Diving Bell wrecks so you can search the chests without repeatedly swimming back for air.
San Ignacio Hull Armor Ultimate Plan location
Hull Armor is one of the earliest Ultimate plans because it sits in the first medicine-diving area after the Diving Bell unlocks.

Common mistakes when collecting Ultimate plans
KEY!Ultimate plans do not install upgrades automatically. A plan only unlocks the final-tier purchase at the Harbourmaster, so a newly collected blueprint will not change the Jackdaw until you buy the upgrade.
Buried plan prompts are map-gated. If the dig prompt is missing at Matanzas, Tulum, San Juan Cave, Andreas Island, Misteriosa, or Petite Caverne, go back and loot the matching skeleton map first.
Older Elite-plan names and coordinates can differ in Resynced. Coordinates vary around named spots such as San Ignacio Wreck, Kabah Ruins, Devil’s Eye Caverns, The Blue Hole, Antocha/Atocha Wreck, and San Juan, so use the location name and route above when numbers disagree. Some mixed lists put Fire Barrel Storage at Isla Providencia or attach a Chase Cannons entry to Ambergris Key; in this 12-plan route, Fire Barrel Storage is the Petite Caverne-to-Tulum route, and Ambergris Key Cave supplies the map for Heavy Shot Strength.
After the 12 Ultimate plans are collected
Once the 12 Ultimate plans are in your inventory, sail to any Harbourmaster, open Upgrade Ship, and buy the Jackdaw upgrades you have unlocked.
The plans are only the blueprint gate. You still need the required Reales and materials for each final-tier purchase; the full set can run to 315,800 Reales, 4,755 Metal, 2,750 Wood, and 550 Cloth.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you need the Diving Bell for Ultimate ship upgrade plans?
Yes. The underwater chest plans require the Diving Bell, which unlocks around Sequence 6 during Diving for Medicines. The buried treasure plans do not come from Diving Bell wreck chests; they require skeleton maps and dig prompts.
Are Ultimate Plans the same as Elite Plans in older Black Flag guides?
Yes. In Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, Ultimate Plans are the final-tier Jackdaw plan set that older Black Flag material often calls Elite Plans. Names and coordinates can vary, so match the named location and plan route rather than only a coordinate number.
Why is the dig prompt not showing at a treasure location?
The dig prompt appears only after you collect the matching treasure map. If you are standing at the right waterfall, watchtower, cave, or coconut-tree spot and nothing appears, return to the skeleton map source for that plan first.
Do Ultimate Plans automatically upgrade the Jackdaw?
No. Each Ultimate Plan unlocks the corresponding final-tier purchase at a Harbourmaster. You still have to open Upgrade Ship and spend the required Reales and materials.
Which Ultimate plans should you collect first?
Start with Hull Armor, because it is available during the first Diving Bell medicine dive and is one of the earliest plans. After that, sweep the other Diving Bell wreck chests while you are already set up for underwater areas, then finish the treasure-map routes; save Cayman Sound for when you are ready to avoid or work around the hostile ships there.
