Here’s some good news for prospective customers of the rumor and much talked about 32GB model of the Nexus 7. According to an image leaked from a UK retailer, the 32GB Nexus 7 will cost £199.99, same as the 16GB model that is currently available.
An earlier leaked image from another retailer mentioned that the 16GB model is at its end-of-life and will supposedly be replaced by the 32GB model, and the above image showing the 32GB model having the same price as the 16GB model acts as further confirmation. This will certainly snub those who only recently bought the 16GB variant, and even 8GB Nexus 7 owners will be disappointed that a few more bucks could have gotten them a Nexus 7 with four times the storage.
Google is clearly aiming for a huge holiday season sale of the Nexus 7 with the 32GB model, and there’s no doubt that it will be yet another hit, more so because of the increased storage at the same price as the 16GB model. Any of you looking to pick a 32GB Nexus 7 up as soon as it gets released? Let us know in the comments.
