007 First Light: How to Complete The After Hours Challenge – White Perch Lab Coat Location, Requirements, and Rewards Guide

In 007 First Light, you will have to complete the After Hours challenge by entering the data center wearing the white Perch lab coat disguise without getting spotted. Here’s how to do all this.

After Hours Challenge details

The After Hours challenge demands you enter the data center wearing a disguise — specifically the white lab coat from The Perch facility. This challenge is part of the Ghost challenge set for Knightfall and must be completed alongside the Underdressed challenge (reaching the data center without being spotted).

How to complete the After Hours Challenge

Step 1: Eavesdrop on NPC Conversation

Exit your starting room and eavesdrop on the nearby NPC conversation.

One NPC mentions they lost a key that opens a locker containing a lab coat, and that cleaning robots will find it.

Step 2: Call the Cleaning Robot

Press the button right next to you to summon the cleaning robot.

The robot rolls around autonomously and will eventually return to empty its waste bin.

Step 3: Wait for the Robot to Empty Its Bin

Watch carefully as the robot uses a mechanism to dump its bin into the waste disposal room through the wall. You’ll see the key icon inside the bin as it drops.

Step 4: Sneak Into the Waste Disposal Room

You need access to the disposal room.

Use one of these methods:

• Bluff your way in (requires Q-Watch energy).

• Hack the printer behind the guard to create a noise distraction.

• Activate air conditioning to create a condensation cloud if bluff energy is low.

Once you’re in, you’ll have to distract the man before the waste bin. Simply dart him.

Step 5: Retrieve the Locker Key

Enter the waste disposal room, open the vacuum waste bin.

And search it to get the locker key.

Step 6: Go to the Locker Room

Head across the hall directly in front of the disposal room to reach the locker room.

Step 7: Open Locker #6

Find locker number 6 specifically (other lockers won’t work) and use the key to retrieve the white lab coat (Perch disguise).

Step 8: Put On the Lab Coat

Equip the white Perch lab coat from your inventory before approaching the data center entrance.

Step 9: Get to the Data Center

Go past the check-in desk.

Go past the crowd.

Then up the stairs.

Step 10: Enter the Data Center

Once you reach the data center entrance still undisguised and wearing the lab coat, walk through the entrance to complete After Hours.

The game registers the challenge when you enter while disguised.

Critical Mistakes to Avoid

• Don’t skip eavesdropping — you won’t know the key is in the vacuum bin without hearing the NPC conversation

• Don’t rush the robot — wait for it to fully empty its bin before entering the disposal room

• If the bluff button is greyed out, recharge your Q-Watch energy or use the printer/AC distraction instead

• Locker #6 is specific — opening any other locker won’t give you the coat

• Don’t get spotted before reaching the data center — this fails both After Hours and Underdressed simultaneously

• Watch for “Watcher” NPCs — these guards can’t be bluffed and will detect you.

Rewards & Completion

Completing After Hours contributes to the Knightfall Ghost challenge completion and is required for 100% mission completion. Finishing all Knightfall challenges unlocks the white tuxedo outfit. 

If you fail either challenge, replay Knightfall via Story → Select Chapter from the main menu — all missions are replayable with full challenge tracking.
