YouTube Go beta launched in India

Announced in September 2016, Youtube Go beta version is now live on the Google Play store for Indian users.

Designed from scratch, the brand new Youtube Go app comes with a clean and user-friendly interface that allows you to download and enjoy videos from the Youtube even when you are on a slow connection.

The app is designed to give you the best experience to watch the Youtube videos without any fuss. The home screen shows you relatable content and it not only gives you a preview of what you are about to watch, but it also shows the exact data that will be used to play the video. You can choose from the basic or standard quality.

Besides that, the app lets you download videos to your phone or SD card and later play them without buffering, anytime, anywhere. At the same time, the app shows the amount of data required for video download as well.

And now comes the best part, the Youtube Go app also allows you to share the saved videos with your nearby friends and family using Hotspot. Similarly, you can even receive videos from your nearby friends. To top it all off, no data is used while video transfer via the Youtube Go app.
