Citing user experience as the top priority on their list, Sony has announced that it will restart rolling out the Nougat update to its Xperia Z5, Z3+ and Z4 units ASAP. The company, in a tweet stated that they are still working on the inconsistencies in the Nougat update to these devices.

Sony rolled out the Nougat update to Xperia Z5, Z4 Tablet and Xperia Z3+ recently. But strangely enough, the updates were halted last Friday. The exact reason behind the stoppage is still unknown as the company has not come up with any explanation whatsoever. However, a serious bug/issue is being cited as the reason.

With the new announcement of the Nougat rollout to begin soon, the Sony mobile users who earlier failed to update their devices can now breathe a sigh of relief.

What seems strange is that, manufacturers are struggling hard to release a stable Nougat update to their Android devices. And too after several weeks into beta testing. Sony isn’t the only one to do so. Anther OEM who too have followed a similar path is HTC.
