XOOM will have to wait a few weeks for Flash 10.2

Things came to a complete standstill for us when we heard that Flash 10.1 would not be available at launch of the Motorola XOOM and this lightweight browser plug-in will probably be available only in spring 2011. Then Adobe brought blood back to our system by blogging that Flash 10.2 will be available in a few weeks. Here’s an extract from the blog…

Adobe will offer Flash Player 10.2 preinstalled on some tablets and as an OTA download on others within a few weeks of Android 3 (Honeycomb) devices becoming available, the first of which is expected to be the Motorola Xoom.

Though the first units of Motorola XOOM will hit the markets without pre-installed Flash 10.2, we sure hope we can update it in our tablets in a few weeks as Adobe has promised.
