Living up to its customers, Xiaomi has started rolling out the stable MIUI 9.6.24 update to the first batch of Poco F1 smartphone users, today. Full software version of the update is V9.6.24.0.OEJMIFD.

Being an initial release, the update is being tested on several units first and thus, will not be made available to many users, just randomly selected users who haven’t been convinced to jump to the latest MIUI 10 beta program will be notified of the update.  Naturally, the download links should be available soon.

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer says the update is available through OTA only, at least for now, and you may or may not get the changelog with the update.

Although Xiaomi had promised its Poco F1 customers that they will get frequent software updates, including the update to Android 9 Pie, the company seems in no mood to waste time fixing bugs the mobile might already have.
