Xiaomi Poco F1 has gained a lot of traction since its launch and it’s for the good reasons. The device is easily the best value for money smartphone you can bet on and to make it even better, Xiaomi has a team that tracks and responds to any major feedback provided by the many fans of the phone.

In the latest edition of the POCO and Pocophone feedback, Xiaomi fills us in the status of feedback provided before regarding certain features and bugs. High on the list is the return of the option to hide the notch in the Settings, but this is still limited to the open beta version.

Xiaomi also notes that it is working with partners in line with Widevine L1 certification. The Pocophone F1 has been experiencing some touch lags and wrong touch issues, things the company says have been taken care of and will be part of the next stable release.

Having launched as part of MIUI 10 beta 8.12.7 in early December, Xiaomi feels it has had enough time to try the support for 4K 60fps video recording. The feature is in the final tests, with the stable version expected pretty much soon.

Following the update to Android 9 Pie, some Pocophone F1 users started reporting excessive battery drain. Xiaomi got wind of this via the user feedback and apparently, the team is analyzing the possible cause for this – an undertaking that would be helped by availability of more feedback from users of the F1.
