The recently released Xiaomi Mi Note 2 sold out in 50 seconds on its first flash sale at the manufacturers official web store. The device packs great hardware and so has great demand. But if you’re someone like us, you probably haven’t purchased the device yet because you want to first verify if it’s easy to root Mi Note 2.
Generally, getting root access on Xiaomi devices is pretty easy. However, until a working build of TWRP recovery isn’t available for the device, any safer methods of rooting Android devices won’t work.
We’ll be keeping an eye at XDA forums and other Android communities for any developments on Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Root and TWRP status, and update this post downloads and instructions.
