Following some complains last week from POCO F1 users, Xiaomi today announced some updates regarding the status of those issues. What’s more, the company also has some new feedback regarding the upcoming Android 9 Pie update.
So according to the new blog post, POCO F1 users can expect the Android Pie open beta to be released in the coming weeks. Xiaomi also says that users are welcome to join the MIUI 10 global beta. The updated (based on Android Oreo) has been available since September and is now being pushed to more users.
On top of that, we’re told that developers are also hard at work to fix the bug which makes the battery icon display with the wrong pattern. The software team is also developing a new feature that will allow full-screen mode with hidden notch for some apps.
Regarding the problems that some POCO F1 reported last week, Xiaomi says it has solved any Android Auto issues, as well as Asphalt 8/9 incompatibility on Google Play. Time and Weather overlapping has also been fixed in MIUI 10 for POCO.
