So how about this as an advantage of Android? Windows Phone 8, which features a new Start screen with resizable tiles, hasn’t even been launched by Microsoft, but we can enjoy a similar home screen on our Android devices thanks to the WP8 Launcher, a launcher app which gives you a home screen just like the one WP8 features.

The WP8 launcher gets you the tiles-based home screen, Windows Phone lockscreen as well as app drawer, resizable icons, different colors for the tiles, ability to add widgets, and lots more, basically providing a Windows Phone 8 homescreen experience before even Windows Phone users can get it.

WP8 Launcher is in Chinese on the Play Store, but there is a translated version as well on the XDA Developers forums, and while it is still not completely translated, you can use it properly as the important parts are already in English. You can download the translated version from the source page, copy the APK file to your device and install it manually using a file manager.

The Play Store version can be found here (in Chinese). Try WP8 Launcher out, and let us know how it works!
