Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge gets official, support pages spotted on Samsung Finland website

Unpacked 2015 invite

We’ve long been following on the rumors of Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, but we haven’t had anything official from Samsung directly for the two devices yet. While Galaxy S6 is an obvious release for 2015, the Galaxy S6 Edge is rather new and we have only heard of it in rumors or leaks. But thankfully, with each day passing, both the devices are getting more official.

Last week we showed you the trademark filing of Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge names by Samsung, which gave us a good hint at the existence of these devices. And now today both the devices have made official appearances (in model numbers only) at Samsung’s Finland website as support pages for SM-G920X and SM-G925X model numbers went live.

Galaxy S6 Model number Galaxy S6 Edge Model number

We know from an earlier report that these model numbers belong to Galaxy S6 devices. The SM-G920X is Galaxy S6 and SM-G925X is Galaxy S6 Edge.

In case you don’t know, Galaxy S6 Edge is rumored to have dual-edge screens on both left and right side of the device. This was somewhat confirmed with leaked cases from Verus last week.

Samsung is expected to announce both the devices at Unpacked 2015 event on 1st March, a day before MWC kicks off. Both the devices are expected to feature same build quality (metal) and specs like the Galaxy Note 4 and Note Edge does.
