White Elephone P8000 leaks, looks pretty good!

Stylish phones are what making buzz in the present time and is the order of the day. Have a look at Oppo R5, which measures just 4.85mm in thickness, and even sacrifices the 3.5mm jack to attain that. (You have to use a micro USB to 3.55mm jack converter to listen music, thus.) It’a apparent many of us, especially the less geeky ones, feel that having the sexiest handset is what makes us stand out in the crowd. Well, if you subscribe to that view, you’ve a lot to cheer for, as new pics have leaked of the Elephone P8000, compared side-by-side to its predecessor, the Elephone P7000.

Have a look at these pics.

The Elephone P800 surely looks a pretty sexy device, even though not in the league of Oppo R5, and Gionee ELife S5.1, or the Vivo X5Max, three devices which are slimmest, and sexiest in our eyes. Though, the white colored P8000 (the black one is P7000) is no slouch when it comes to sheer looks, and from the looks of it, it could feature almost edge to edge display with very slim bezels. The back looks to be curvy, like the Nexus 6 or Moto X, something we are in love with as it simply means better feel in hand of the device.

Okay, we’d be remiss if we didn’t talk about the Elephone P8000 specs that have been rumored so far. Well, it’s said to pack in an octa-core 64-bit processor from MediaTek, 2/3GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage along with the rear camera of 13MP, plus the front camera of 8MP.

The Elephone P8000 could also feature a fingerprint sensor, which we hope is a touch-based one that we find on Ascend Mate 7, and not the swipe-based that graces the front of Galaxy S5, if we are to go by Samsung experience judgement. Although, it could be hard to obtain the touch-based sensor, here’s why (the Nexus 6 example)?

Compared to P7000, the home capacitive button is now Lollipop-inspired circle in P8000, while there are two dots representing the back and recents buttons. Oddly enough though, speakers have been moved to back side, when P7000 housed them at bottom, something we’d prefer anytime.

Now the question arises: what do you think of Elephone P8000 from these leaked pics? Would it prove to be a worthwhile device for you in the coming months? Curious about its release, well, P8000 is expected to blemish around in May.
