After introducing the new album feature on iOS a few days back, WhatsApp has finally introduced the album feature in its Android version. But, umm, it is available only on the beta version (2.17.234). The users on stable version would have to wait for some more time.

For the unaware, the album, groups the photos that you send or receive on WhatsApp in a clean album UI. The album views are generated automatically when you send multiple images (more than 4) in the same chat window.

The albums view are cool, because now when you send multiple photos, they won’t clog up your chat thread, instead will be available in a neat album view, with a preview of four photos.

To view an album, share 4 or more than 4 photos in a chat thread. Similarly, when you receive multiple photos, WhatsApp will automatically create an album view for you.

Sadly, Android users are yet to receive another upcoming feature that is live on iOS. We are talking about the WhatsApp photo filters. Maybe in the new few updates, we will get those as well.
